New Year’s Eve in the White Desert 2026: Overview
In short: celebrate New Year’s Eve in the White Desert. A shared 2-day trip from Cairo or Giza on 31 December 2026 to 1 January 2027, a party camp built only for this night, a live Bedouin band with mizmar and drums, a big grill, games, a countdown under the stars, safe fireworks at midnight and the first sunrise of 2027 over the chalk rocks. One ticket, $180 per person, everything included.
Forget crowded rooftops and expensive tickets. Imagine counting down to 2027 with the whole sky above you, the fire in front of you and new friends from all over the world beside you. Our team from Bahariya Oasis is building one big celebration camp in the White Desert, and you are invited as family.
The adventure starts in the morning: a drive to Bahariya, then a convoy of 4x4s through the Black Desert, Crystal Mountain and Agabat Valley. We reach the White Desert for the last sunset of 2026, and the camp lights up for the party.
The night is pure Bedouin joy: lamb and chicken on the grill, tea on the coals, the mizmar and tabla playing, songs, desert games, dancing around the fire and a countdown that ends with a safe fireworks show over the rocks. In the morning you wake up to the first sunrise of the year, breakfast in the desert and a visit to Mushroom Rock before we drive you home.
